Sony Releases Teaser Trailer for New Resident Evil Reboot

Sony Pictures has dropped the official teaser trailer for its upcoming Resident Evil movie, a fresh reboot of the popular horror franchise.

Directed by Zach Cregger (Barbarian, Weapons), the film features an all-new original story. It follows Bryan (Austin Abrams), a medical courier caught in a terrifying night of chaos and survival.

The cast also includes Zach Cherry, Kali Reis, and Paul Walter Hauser. Produced in association with Constantin Film and TriStar Pictures, the movie is set to hit theaters on September 18, 2026.
