Students Blackmailed Teacher Over Secret OnlyFans Page

Published on

A Georgia teacher already facing a mountain of sex crime charges is now at the center of a wild new twist: investigators say some of her students may have used her secret OnlyFans page as leverage to squeeze better grades out of her. According to newly surfaced search warrants, detectives in Douglas County looked into claims that students had figured out 25-year-old Maris Nichols was running the adult content account — and used that knowledge to pressure her in the classroom.

Nichols, a former biology teacher at Alexander High School and one-time “player personnel director” for the football program, was first arrested in May after authorities accused her of having sexual encounters with students in a classroom closet and inside a parked truck at a local golf course. The case quickly snowballed. Within weeks, she was hit with more charges, with investigators saying the number of alleged victims had grown to six — including at least two reportedly under the age of 16. She now faces charges including child molestation, grooming a minor, improper sexual contact by an employee, and tampering with evidence.

That’s where the blackmail claims come in. Search warrant filings show detectives heard repeated accounts that students had threatened to expose Nichols’ alleged OnlyFans account unless she handed them favorable grades. Investigators haven’t said whether they could confirm the claims, but they took it seriously enough to demand a mountain of records from OnlyFans — account details, messages, uploaded content, payment history, even IP addresses. The paper trail didn’t stop there. The Sheriff’s Office reportedly fired off warrants to Snapchat and AT&T as well, while also pulling in multiple students, their families and Nichols herself as part of the evidence sweep. Deputies even sought genetic samples and fingerprints from two of the teenagers, along with surveillance footage from St. Andrews Golf Course tied to an alleged meet-up between Nichols and one of the students. Investigators also zeroed in on a piece of clothing — a “Jesus Loves You” sweater Nichols was allegedly seen wearing in one of the videos central to the case — and sought it out specifically in a warrant. On top of all that, detectives scrambled to track down a phone that used to belong to Nichols after it landed with a relative, worried that evidence could vanish before they got their hands on it. They also pulled her mental health treatment records, trying to figure out whether medication may have played a role in her behavior.

The case has only heated up since. Prosecutors are now asking a judge to revoke Nichols’ bond entirely, claiming she violated the terms of her house arrest dozens of times after being released. The Douglas County School System says it’s cooperating fully with the investigation, which officials describe as active and ongoing — meaning more twists in this scandal could still be coming.
