Adult performer Vanna Bardot is calling for the return of one of the industry’s once-popular traditions: the monthly “Girl of the Month” features produced by major studios. In a post on X, she reflected on the years before the COVID-19 pandemic, describing the shoots as an important milestone that highlighted rising talent and gave performers a sense of recognition.
“There used to be a ‘girl of the month’ shoot for at least four major sites and it was always so exciting to see on the 1st of every month which performer got what, and was a huge indicator of who was popping off in the industry. Those shoots were always so special and personalized to each girl and really was a moment that made every girl feel so special and glamorous. Each ‘title’ you got under your belt felt like a huge accomplishment. Let’s bring this back guys.”
