Yuu Sasamoto Did Porn to Pay Million-Dollar Loan Shark Debt

Japanese AV actress Yuu Sasamoto entered the porn industry to pay off a massive debt to loan sharks. Her ex-fiancé had secretly borrowed around 20 million yen (about $130,000 USD) in her name from illegal high-interest lenders before abandoning her and their newborn child.

Facing relentless pressure from aggressive debt collectors, she saw adult videos as her only quick solution. With her massive breasts enticing Japanese audiences, Sasamoto shot just eight videos and successfully cleared the entire debt in less than a year. Similar to Mia Khalifa, who filmed only a few scenes in a short period yet achieved enormous success, Sasamoto became a major sensation in Japan.

Although grateful that the work allowed her to escape the loan sharks so fast, she admitted the intense schedule took a serious toll on her body and mental health, which is why she left the industry before completing her contract. She now works as a gravure idol while raising her child.

The revelation came after a controversial post in which she expressed regret about entering the AV world. She later clarified that the comment was made during a dissociative episode linked to the trauma of that period.
